Currently based in Clonmel in a Management role on a 300-head beef enterprise with the past 2 years. My contract ends at the end of this month. Before taking on my current role I had completed 3 years of veterinary medicine in Budapest before taking a few years of academic leave. Would be happy to stay in beef but also interested in dairy to gain experience before I head back to veterinary. Plenty of experience in both. Looking for something long-term ~1-2 years+ . Experienced with machinery – modern/older tractors and teleporters, drawing bales, diet feeding, mowing, slurry and fertiliser spreading, use of Topcon GPS etc Handy with fencing, fitting, welding, plumbing Strong animal husbandry skills – dosing, diagnosing, and experience calving suckler herds, relief milking .
