Weekend Deer Management - Leinster

Small Syndicate for Weekend Deer Management (Kildare/Offally/Laois/Carlow/Wicklow) We are a small local syndicate of 3–4 HCAP-certified hunters based in Country Kildare. We are now open to discussing additional deer management permissions for the 2026/2027 season. Our Approach: • Operating Hours: We operate on a weekend basis only as we all work full time. We do not engage in night shooting (lamping/thermal shooting); all management is conducted during legal daylight hours. • Livestock-Friendly: We utilize high-quality sound moderators on all equipment to ensure minimal noise disruption for livestock and residents. • We will only commit to new land following a consultation to ensure we can meet your specific cull targets and management needs. • Legal & Insured: All members hold valid NPWS Deer Hunting Licences and comprehensive public liability insurance Access & Paperwork Requirements: • Land Identification: For legal and safety purposes, all permissions must be linked to a specific Land Folio Number or Eircode, Maps amd boundary details help also. • Check-in/Check-out protocols (via call/text/whatsapp) so you know when we ate on site or not, specific access points, and agreed cull numbers. • Section 42: We are available to discuss Section 42 applications for out-of-season management where deer are causing documented damage, applied for by the land owner. NPWS Open Season Dates: • Male 1st August – 30th April 2027. • Female 1st November – 31st March 2027. Location: Covering Kildare, Offaly, Laois, Carlow and Wicklow. Cost: This is a service provided free of charge in exchange for specific hunting rights.
