Vintage silage knife

Vintage silage knife of heavy steel with turned wooden handle. Rare enough to see these days. They were used in the past for cutting benches of silage for hand feeding before silage grabs or block cutters became popular. They were also also used for stripping the scraw from banks off turf priar to cutting Recently restored with TLC. While it is still sharp and in perfect working order it would also make a nice implement to display in an old pub or cottage .
