The mower blade cuts the grass and is then quickly discarded out of the discharge chute at the side of the mower deck keeping the deck clear for optimum mowing. The WB506SCV 3IN1 PRO is supplied with a mulch plug which can be inserted into the discharge chute preventing the grass cuttings from leaving the cutter deck.
