Wanted - Garden Shed Installer/General Operative

Join our team at O’Brien Timber Products as a Garden Building Installer/General Operative. We are looking for someone who is hard working, motivated, a good timekeeper and enjoys manual work which in the main is outside. This person will be working with a senior installer on a daily basis as a team. This is a varied role and would suit someone with practical DIY skills who also takes pride in the quality of a job well done. Experience in the timber industry an advantage i.e. use of woodworking machinery, nail guns, pallet and crate manufacture etc. Manual Handling Cert, Forktruck Cert & Safe Pass also an advantage. On the job training will be provided, however. Responsibilities: - Delivery and installation of Timber Garden Sheds - Operate machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with H&S - Provide good customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction - Will also be required to perform other general yard duties e.g. order picking. Required skills: - An appropriate level of physical fitness, as the job is manually demanding - Basic grasp of English language required - Applicant must be able to work on their own initiative as well as with others - A courteous and professional manner - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - A willingness to learn.
