They are designed to be super easy to launch thanks to a deep undercut cavity and a low, deep centre of gravity. Progressive face thickness sees the faces in the longer irons made thinner giving a higher spring-like effect and increased ball speed while the shorter irons have thicker faces which helps to optimise feel. They also feature TaylorMade's inverted cone technology which helps expand the area of the clubface that delivers fast ball speeds. Speed is everything with the Superlaunch irons and therefore they include superfast technology which means they are lighter to deliver more power and, ultimately, longer shots whatever your swing speed.
