Fender 72 Thinline Telecaster 2003 (MIM)

For sale my 2003 Fender Thinline Telecaster in three coloured sunburst made in Mexico. My reason for selling this is it is not getting used . I purchased this guitar in 2003/04 in music maker. The guitar is in very good condition. It has had a new switch craft out put jack installed, the internal cavity shielded and a set up done about a year ago by rumble music repairs Sligo. There was a paint chip out just over the f-hole which was patched up while at rumble music. There is the usual neck pocket laquer checking which is very common on Telecasters. Other than that the finish is perfect. Currently the only way to get this model is either a Squier model, a made in japan one or an American made one. These Mexican made Telecasters are every bit as good as the American ones. The guitar features an ash body with some lovely wood grain, a maple neck and fret board. The 70's F stamped tuners work well and have the slot in the top to allow for a stream lined look with no excess string on the headstock. There is a set of Fender stamped wide range humbuckers with a master volume and master tone, all controlled by a three way toggle switch. The action on this guitar is super low. It plays like butter and sounds amazing. The guitar comes with a non original hard shell case made by Hiscox England. It is form fitting and protects the guitar well. Thanks for reading.
