Fender Esquire 70th Anniversary Pine (Telecaster)

Here I offer for sale one of my favourite Fender Telecaster guitars over the past few years. Sadly I no longer use it very much and wish to see it find a home where it can be loved and played as this glorious guitar should. Detail: 1951 Esquire Reissue (anniversary edition) - U shaped maple neck 7.25" radius - Kluson tuners - Round string tree - Pine body (ultra light) - Tim Shaw special designed Esquire bridge pickup - Seymour Duncan 52 neck pickup - No load tone control - NOS paper in oil tone cap - series paralell switch - Flat top genuine fender knurled knobs - Smooth steel barrel saddles - ashtray bridge - 1 ply vintage guard This guitar sounds unbelievable and being pine is extremely light. It is perfectly balanced (pine teles can be prone to neck dive) and has a glorious cut from the Shaw bridge pickup special to this limited run. It is more similar to a fender lap steel pickup with more chime than a sometimes more dark black guard style flat pole pickup. The neck pickup was carefully selected to be an excellent match in all positions. The Duncan 52 has been a session favourite for many years and gives this guitar such versatility. The body was NOT routed or modified for a neck pickup, the rout was already in place from Fender hence the guitar could be very easily restored to the original pickup configuration without and evidence of modification. All case candy is included and in immaculate condition as is the guitar. Certificate of Authenticity, original wiring, inspection cards and even the shop hang tags are included.
