Kiso Suzuki W65 DB (Dreadnought Black). Japanese acoustic guitar manufactured in 1981 by Kiso Suzuki Violin Company. Built as a highly accurate, premium copy of the Gibson Hummingbird or Gibson Dove guitars. The standard sunburst variants (like the W-65H or W65-D) are more common, black finish is exceptionally rare for this model. Highly regarded for offering Gibson-style aesthetics and sound quality with robust craftsmanship at a fraction of the cost of an original Gibson. Spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, high-grade lamination. Condition: Light scratches, marks, tarnishing to original tuning pegs; pickguard artwork mostly worn away; chipping along the bottom edge of sound hole; two patches of friction wear on neck; no cracks or repairs; requires maintenance, new strings, tuning.
