Martin JDP II Special Edition

This is a really special instrument, a collector's item as well as being a great sounding guitar. On Martin's 175th anniversary Diane Ponzio, one of Martin's long term international representatives, got tigether with the Martin design team and designed this unique instrument. There are only 71 made in total in the world. This one is number #45. No pickup installed. It's in excellent condition. Here's the spec. jumbo-style body, solid Italian Alpine spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, hybrid X scalloped forward-shifted bracing, large round soundhole with custom Madagascar rosewood/mahogany triangle design rosette, tortoise color binding, black/maple/black fiber top inlay, black/maple back inlay, fine herringbone back purfling, select hardwood low profile neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, slotted headstock with ebony overlay and gold logo, three-per-side nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid Butterbean knobs, solid East Indian rosewood belly bridge, white bridge pins with black dots, Delmar tortoise color pickguard, label signed by Diane Ponzio and numbered in sequence, Natural polished gloss finish, 25.4 in. scale, case included, manufactured: summer 2008-mid-2011.
