Martin’s Garage Bailieboro is a family run business which was established in 1969 by Freddie Martin where he carried out repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. In the early 70’s he developed the farm machinery side of the business, and was appointed the International Harvester tractor  dealership for the Cavan &amp; Monaghan region.

During this time Freddie  was awarded ‘Dealer of the Year’ in Ireland for three consecutive years due to his outstanding performance in the areas of sales, service and parts.

In the 80’s he acquired the Massey Ferguson franchise. From then things have gone from strength to strength and with the help of his wife and sons the business has gained the reputation of one the leading farm machinery dealerships in the country. In 2006 we were rewarded once again this time by Massey Ferguson for  the top ‘Salesmen of the Year’ for selling the most 6400 series both here in Ireland and Uk.

Sadly Freddie passed away on the 30th of July 2009 at the young age of 62 ,but his hard work and his dedication to the farm machinery trade still continues under the management of his sons.
