Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 1500

Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date reference 1500, dating to circa 1969 (serial 2.27m). A very honest example of Rolex’s classic late-1960s Date, offered in strong mechanical condition. The watch retains its original matte tritium dial, correctly signed “T SWISS T”, with nicely aged lume that matches the hands. The stainless steel Oyster case presents well with clear lines and normal, age-appropriate wear. It is fitted to a genuine Rolex Oyster bracelet ref. 78350 with correct 557 end links (19mm). The bracelet has a full set of links and features a 1977 clasp code (B). The automatic Rolex movement is running very well and has been checked on a timegrapher following a recent service.
