Vintage 1950/60s Diamond Cluster Ring - 18ct

Here we have a beautiful diamond French diamond cluster ring dating from around the 1950/60s The ring is set in a daisy or star pattern and is also known in France as a Marguerite ring. The centre diamond is surrounded by a ring or halo of 10 round brilliant cut diamonds. The centre diamond weighs approx. 0.65ct with surround of diamond 1.4ct, so 2.05ct in total. The centre diamond is set within an illusion effect 18ct white gold mount and the crown of diamonds is raised above a slender 18ct white gold band. The ring is fully hallmarked with the French assay mark for 18ct white gold and has been tested for same. The diamonds are bright and lively and this is a beautiful diamond cluster ring.
