Vintage Emerald Gatsby Necklace - 18ct Rose Gold

For sale is a truly stunning emerald necklace dating from around the 1950/60s. This necklace is known as a sautoir necklace which is a extra long necklace, this case with a double row of real, natural emeralds throughout. The necklace is set with 280 cabochon emerald beads and is finished with a beautiful 18ct rose gold clasp set with a pearl in the centre with two round cut emeralds and two round cut rubies. There is also a double safety chain attached for safety. The emeralds are all natural with wonderful rich green hue and natural inclusions throughout. One row draped slightly lower than the other which is the design and the size of the emerald graduate from smaller at the top to larger at the base. This is truly a Great Gatsby piece of jewellery with spectacular colour and wonderful beaded design. The necklace measures 79cm in length and is fully hallmarked 18ct rose gold.
