D'Almaine Miniature Piano

A dainty little burr walnut piano with the smallest dimensions possible for overstrung piano. This compact instrument is ideally suited to someone who is limited with space or lives in an apartment. It has 73 keys instead of 85 to 88 which is what a normal size piano would have, meaning it covers six octaves. This amount of octaves is adequate for a beginner learning up as far as grade five. What you are missing are the highest and the lowest notes which would not be used in the early stages of learning the piano. Many electric keyboards have 73 keys. The cabinet is in excellent condition for its age (1922) and has Chrome fittings. Internally it is excellent and has never had a string broken in all its years. The tone is clear and mellow, but with its size it would lack volume. The piano has a light to medium responsive touch. Comes with second hand stool and free delivery within Leinster.
