The construction of the B1 piano is superb, featuring strung backs with Yamaha’s robust cast iron V-pro frame, a laminated spruce soundboard, and four wooden back posts for added strength. Yamaha utilizes their specially developed ‘B Series Special’ high-grade hammers and a proven action design, resulting in effortless playing and a highly responsive keyboard touch. The key surfaces are made of durable materials, with acrylic resin for the white keys and black phenolic resin with wooden filler for the black keys.
