Piano - Beautiful Sound.

This beautiful, 88-key upright piano was a gift from the late Valerie Walker (professor at the Royal Irish Academy of Music) to her student and friend, Naomi, who herself became a much-loved local piano teacher in Killiney. This piano is rare in that it was built by Danish manufacturers Andreas Christensen. Fans of ambient and 'atmospheric pop' music will be familiar with the name due to this piano's more compact cousin - the 'Picolino' pianette - favoured by well-known artist, Ólafur Arnalds. This piano is also uniquely fitted with a third 'muffler' pedal - a helpful feature for repetitive practice sessions. This instrument has recently been assessed and evaluated by professional piano technician, Stéphane Claude. See photos for report.
