Pot bellied clock

This is a beautiful French pot bellied grandfather clock. From around 1840 , it is a serious piece of furniture. Built in the east of France bordering Austria/ Switzerland. It has an enamel face , brass surround, very mechanical, as it should be . Strikes on the hour ( then 2 mins after ) and again on the half hour. A real cottage piece , very rugged, basic and honest piece of machinery. Massive weights, large brass pendulum. Once set up it needs winding weekly. There is a massive price drop to rehome this clock .Thanks.
