Vintage Brass Lamps & Shades

Pair of Vintage Hand-Engraved Brass Table Lamps with Shades A beautiful matching pair of large vintage brass table lamps, complete with lampshades. The rounded brass bases feature intricate hand-tooled geometric patterns, including diamond, dot and curved detailing, giving them an elegant Moroccan, Middle Eastern or bohemian-inspired look. They make a striking decorative feature and create a warm, cosy atmosphere when lit. Both lamps are fully wired with standard UK/Irish plugs, tested and in good working order. The inspection labels underneath are dated 04/04/2007, and both lamps carry CE markings. The brass has developed a lovely aged patina, with tarnishing, surface marks, oxidation and some green verdigris consistent with age and use. They can be polished for a brighter finish or left as they are to preserve their authentic vintage character. Approximate measurements of each lamp: * Brass body height: 31 cm * Overall height including bulb holder: approximately 43–45 cm * Brass base diameter: approximately 23 cm * Brass base circumference: approximately 72 cm Brand: AWL (according to the supplier label) Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related tarnishing, marks, discolouration and oxidation. Please view all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description. Both lampshades are included. Light bulbs may be removed for safe transport or postage. A unique and eye-catching matching pair, perfect for a living room, bedroom, hallway or eclectic-style interior.
