2002 BMW R1150GS Non ABS

I am selling my 2002 BMW R1150 GS. This is the Non ABS model from from the BMW factory, ABS was never fitted and therefore never removed. I hope this clarifies some of your queries. It comes with a high screen, engine bars, and spots and Oxford heated grips. Over the years I have added a Pair of 40 Litre aluminium lockable panniers and a 2 helmet Top box which are more than adequate for weekends away or the trip to the conto, all of which are easily removed when a quick spin is needed. I have a full rain cover for the bike which is kept in the multi sectioned magnetic tank bag. The 2 part seating has been upgraded and is very comfortable on the long hauls. The original exhaust has been replaced by a Remus can. I fitted a new battery last year and extended the wiring so that a 12v charger can be connected under the seat, rather than removing the tank. I fitted a new Metzeler rear tyre after Christmas and checked for leaks, movement etc in the rear hub while the wheel was off. This bike still has its original tool kit showing the level of care by its owners. It has its 2 original keys, one with the factory fitted immobiliser and keys for the luggage. I have a CLYMER 750 page workshop manual for it and also the tool for removing the oil filter. - DOE certs dated back to 2017 - Imported in 2024 (previously imported to NI from Germany in 2009) I am the 4th owner.
