Aprilia Futura 1000 2001

The bike starts on the button and pulls like a train. It has the bulletproof Rotax V-twin engine. Six gears. Slipper clutch. Totally reliable. I've put up 5000 miles in the five years I've had it. Very comfy seat. Lowering links, original ones there, bar risers, Everything works as it should. General condition is good for its age. It has FI, single sided swingarm, USD forks, Brembo callipers, plastic tank so no rust. Good bits: New front tyre, stator, leads and coils, suspension bearings, clutch line, pads, oil and filter. Rear wheel bearing cleaned and greased. Upgraded fireblade rectifier, nice loud aftermarket exhaust, phone charger, Bad bits: No panniers, Lower fairings painted black by previous owner, not a bad job, Broken left mirror, Oil weep from stator cover from when I replaced it but it's very little. General scuffs and marks. Based in Belmullet, NW Mayo.
