BMW K 1200 LT 1999

BMW K1200 Lt year 1999 Imported from Northern Ireland in 2020 Some MOT history....bike presents as clean low mileage example that has not been abused or got to. Starts first time every time..... sometimes smokey on startup other times no smoke.... After warmup no smoke. It drives well for an old girl. (Almost 27/28 years) Currently Abs light and brake light flash intermittently but brakes appear to me to work in non abs mode as normal but I suggest you consult or bring experienced mechanic on viewing or avoid bike if even slightly concerned. As said, the bike appears to be genuine low mileage from MOT history and presents as such. No documented service history but appears genuine. Low mileage and lack of full service history no doubt brings it's own issues but to me better than high mileage with less wear and tear. I dropped bike when putting on stand and couldn't lift alone - second time was enough. 15 years ago I lifted the same model but alas not today. Bike as you will see in reviews is top heavy.... Few years ago this was not an issue for me but today I find it uncomfortable as I don't want to drop. ..... You get the picture no doubt. New C400 already purchased. Price negotiable on viewing. Tires good ...one key, locks work as should, recent new battery bike in my name and address. I have bike a few months and smoke reduces each time I use it. Recent oil and filter change. Just looking for the right next owner and to be used. Don't miss it if it is for you. If it sounds like a headache for then maybe the next LT is for you.... price negotiable on viewing.
