Honda CB1100EX (2018)

Honda CB1100EX - Honda's lovingly built retro for the modern age. This is an oil/air-cooled 1140cc inline four in the "EX" spec which has an emphasis on nostalgia and chrome. They rarely come up for sale as M50 Honda never imported these into Ireland (just the RS version). Kildare Reg 181-KE These are a very simple design with minimal electronics, ABS, that's it! This is a ride away and go bike, it wants for nothing and will cost you very little to self maintain. I have oil, spark plugs and a genuine Honda filter ready to fit but will leave to you if you prefer to do it yourself. The air filter is a very long life item that just needs a blow with an airline. If you wish me to service the bike I will replace the front & rear brake fluid and the clutch fluid (hydraulic clutch) as well. Extras - Oxford Heated Grips, Fehling rear rack, engine bars and pannier stays. Also has an SW-Motech Tank Ring. The Big Deal - unlike other spoke wheel classics this has been professionally converted to Tubeless Rims to take tubeless tyres. This was done by "Bart Factory" in Italy (bartubeless.it) This is a professional system and their primary customers are those with off-road bikes which is a testament to the design. This conversion has been totally reliable and provides the ability to fit a wider choice of tyres and gives you the ability to plug a puncture on the road rather than having to take the wheel off and repair/replace the inner tube or get recovery. This CB1100EX is an utterly reliable bike. The bike wants for no consumables at present, tyres, chains, sprockets and brake pads are all good. Can be viewed in Celbridge by arrangement.
