Walked into the store for help - to transport a damaged motorcycle (not from Lee and not a Honda ) from Cork to Dublin. This was after getting outside transport quotes that would drive you to despair. Mattie was very friendly and sorted me out in 15 minutes. Job done. And understood my situation right away. For me being from up north - Lee Honda is a legendary shop. Bikes are stunning. To see so many Honda motorcycles and top gear on view is fantastic. Visit. Don’t call. Just visit.

Fabulous shop, great supply of varying motorcycles, nice relaxed service. Easy parking. They sell gear also, but I was a bit late and ran out of time.

I brought my motorcycle to Lee Motorcycles based on the belief that they could resolve an issue without replacing the ECU. Instead, I was eventually quoted €3,000 for repairs — nearly half the value of the bike when new. I repeatedly called and asked for clarification on this cost and the nature of the issue, but never received a proper explanation. To this day, I still don’t know why the repair couldn’t be done as initially suggested, nor was I told what specifically was wrong with the ECU. While I was abroad, I was told I needed to collect the bike — fair enough — but I was never informed of the storage rate or when it would start. Later, I was charged €300 (€100/week) with no prior notice of the cost, only being told after the charge had been applied. If I’d known, I could’ve planned differently — maybe even asked them to carry out other work on the bike during that time. After finally retrieving the bike and taking it to another garage, I discovered it was returned without the side tank panel, a significant and visible part that now costs me an additional €367 to replace. This whole experience has been frustrating, costly, and completely avoidable had there been proper communication and a minimum standard of professionalism. It leaves me seriously questioning how Honda — or any reputable brand — would grant a concession to a garage operating like this. I wouldn’t recommend Lee Motorcycles to anyone. If you’re considering bringing your vehicle here, think twice — especially if you expect transparency, competence, or even basic respect as a customer.
