Moto Guzzi Agostini Le Mans

This is a genuine Agostini tuned Guzzi Lemans. The bike is also a survivor. It has never been reconditioned in any way. When this bike was bought new it was taken from the factory and rolled into Agostini's workshop basically next door. Agostini did a considerable amount of work to it including: Raising the compression Fitted their own fairing Rear sets Koni Suspension The other big verification is the stamped lafranconi pipes. The stamped ones are authentic of the time, the ones after have raised lettering. The overall condition of the bike can only be described as amazing for its age. The mileage is genuine. Everything about the bike feels fresh and tight. Mechanically is where it really shines. The bike starts and idles perfectly. The gearbox selection isnt sloppy but tight and engaging. It's also very fast. I have not gone anywhere near its true power due to the front tyre verifying when last the bike was used. To make sure its up to the last of its max speed the bike has had a full mechanical overhaul. The brake calipers have new Teflon pistons with new pads, the fluid has also been flushed The engine has had a full service including its valve clearances. The carbs have been fully rebuilt with all new gaskets and needle and seats. The gearbox and bevel box have been serviced as well as the engine oil and plugs. Thus bikes is not only in amazing condition and truly rare machine, it also is in great mechanical order I was personally offered this bike by renowned guzzi specialist in the Netherlands as a barn find.
