James Hayes Machinery Ltd. was established by the late James Hayes in May 1977. Prior to this he operated as a sole trader selling new Universal tractors and other farm machinery over the previous seven years.

Today the company is run by sons Seamus and Noel with Seamus in charge of Hayes Car Sales and Noel responsible for the agri machinery sale trading as Hayesagri.

Hayesagri holds a number of franchises including Same tractors, Major, Krone, Amazone and Conor machinery as well as distributors for Sim Tech drills.

Market leaders now with standard features including direct drive transmission ( no belts) quick fit blades safe cut cutter bar protection system. 
The unique cutter bar suspension system allows the mower bed to follow the ground contours in each direction.
The vertical parking stand is standard on 360 models and optional on 280 and 320 models.
