Fransgard Wood Pellet Chipper

Fransgard tractor mounted Wood PELLET Chippers from Denmark. Our 27cm and the 33cm models can be fitted with our unique 360⁰ PELLET Screens Systems. As standard we use 4 knives on massive flywheel for chipping, and 4 additional perimeter knives on screen paddles for short chop pellet sized chips. You can choose from 4 different 360 degree screens, and knife settings to get the optimum chip size. Our unique Pellet screens, and and side knives ensure that our chips are completely free from sticks and clumps. Consistent Pellet size chips are preferable as FUEL in pellet and chip boilers, where the extra fine quality of Fransgård PC-CHIP® is crucial to prevent pellet or chip boilers getting clogged. Wood chip Pellets are generally cheaper than pressed pellets (which generally track oil price) Our Pellet sized chips are more suited for animal bedding, reducing the risk of hoof irritation. PC chippers have been on the market for almost 50 years. Tractor mounted models 27cm (11") and 33cm (13"), can be supplied with or without pellet screen system. Fransgard also offer smaller 17.5cm and 20cm chippers, but screens cannot be fitted to these models. Consistent Wood Pellet Sized chips without sticks & clumps are more valuable. This model in the video can handle up to 27cm (11") logs.
