2 Antique Windsor Wheelback Carver Chairs

An attractive pair of early 20th century antique Windsor Wheelback carver chairs. The antique kitchen chairs all have hoop and stick backrests, with a decorative fret cut wheel shaped central splat. The chairs are raised on four turned legs with ‘H’ stretcher supports. A particularly pleasing set. Wheelback dining/kitchen room chairs first produced in the 18th century and made of solid Beech wood with a beautiful patina. These elegant chairs have a spool back and a beautifully shaped seat.
