Race Karts

Hi, I'm selling two race karts that our boys were using for practice in Tynagh for the last two years. The first one (red) is a former NI Championship leading Honda Cadet Kart. It's a Zip chassis that was completely rebuilt and powder coated by the previous owner whose son regularly won in the NI championship. It has a really good Knight Torque race engine and is perfect. There's also a spare Knight Torque race engine that is down on compression but complete and a huge package of spares including a dozen or more slicks and wets on rims, a spare seat and some other bits and pieces. Also includes a good 4-wheel trolley worth €250 and a cover - €1300 total The second one is a former race twin Honda-engined pro-kart and I think it's also a Zip. Both engines are good and have been fitted with new clutches. I also fitted a new brake Master Cylinder, Disc and Caliper. It's a bit scruffy but runs well. It still even has a Mondello scrutiny sticker on it and is big enough for someone of 6 foot to drive. I've occasionally driven it to show the younger son race lines, braking points etc too. Also includes a good 3-wheel trolley worth €150 and a cover - €750 total We used them for our 2 sons to occasionally do some testing near us in Tynagh but they've other interests now. These karts would make a great package for a parent and son/daughter to learn how to drive and maintain karts and to practice together so I'll throw a load of gear (helmets, suits, boots, rainsuits, gloves etc) in if someone wants to buy the whole package.
