The product consists of the dog collar and charger, home base and charger, and other items (please look at photos). The home base requires WiFi, mounted 5ft from the floor and as near as possible to your wifi router. Your boundary area must be a minimum of 3/4 of an acre. The reason this item is superior to other wireless dog fences is that there are no restrictions when creating a boundary fence. Most wireless boundary fences I have seen restrict you to a circular radius perimeter. You can create your fence easily using the Petsafe app, and edit if necessary. There are both vibrate and static functions with the collars corrections. Very easy to set up and the app also allows notifications to alert you if your dog escapes the boundary. I have been using the Petsafe brand fence for 5 years now and it is flawless in my opinions. This fence is brand new, my reason for selling is my dog has struggled to adapt to the new and bigger boundary area and I am going to go back to my own system.
