The Buckets.ie range of hydraulic excavator thumb grabs are available in a range of sizes, to suit 1 to 25 ton excavators. They are designed to work in conjunction with standard attachments such as digging buckets, riddle buckets and land rakes and will not impede the normal digging operation of the excavator, as they can be easily folded away when not in use. Each model is derived from the latest American design, featuring a widened lower pivot joint and reinforced pin, which resists against uneven loads that are applied at the tip of the thumb. Every hydraulic thumb undergoes a comprehensive manufacturing and quality control process, with all pivot joints line bored and bushed. Installation is relatively straightforward and most thumbs are therefore self installed by the customer. Supplied as complete weld on kit, including the full length mounting plate, cylinder and thumb. Hoses are not included.
