138cm connemara jumping pony

138cm 11yro perlino connemara mare, by Maecon Boy, out a Robe Thunder Dun mare. NN for HWSD Same home since a 4yro, and bought directly from her breeder. Has had two foals with us during her stay and only for sale as we have no rider for her, and are no longer going to be breeding the smaller ponies. Honey excels at showjumping, she loves her job and as such can be forward going, though not strong and has always been ridden in a snaffle. She has taken a 12yro from jumping 50/60 up to a course of 90 and 1m. She has done a few SJI shows with that child while on loan up to 90cm, and schooled up to 110 with an older teen. She loose jumps 125 with ease and should have the scope to jump top tracks with an equally capable jockey. She has been well-schooled on the flat, though having been on loan, that end of things is somewhat rusty but does know how to go correctly when appropriately asked, some laterals are also well established. She has xc schooled also. Does not hack well though on her own, better in company. She is a sweet and easy pony to deal with day to day, loads well, easy to catch, trim (has super feet and has always been barefoot), can be ticklish to clip certain areas so needs sedating for that. Stands well to be groomed and bathed, she is an ideal child pony when it comes to handling. While there isnt a nasty, cheeky or dishonesnt bone in Honeys body, she is not suitable for novices as she does enjoy her job but does not tolerate rough hands, someone who holds onto the mouth over a fence or consistently wobbly seats, and her forwardness may worry some less confident riders. She is in light work at the moment to keep her fitness up, anyone is welcome to view her. We are based near Newtownards.
