Bred to jump by prolific Bettyspark Shadow

For sale at auction on Saturday 21.02.26 at the Clifden Connemara sales Lot nmb 382 Dunlewey Red Alert 5yo 143cm gelding, bred to jump, by versatile performance stallion Bettyspark Shadow out of a full sister of Dunlewey Roller, who jumped up to 135cm. He hacks alone and in company and in traffic, jumped 80cm tracks at training shows, and loose jumped up to 1.2m. Has been ridden by children and easy all round. An athletic mover with a promising jump. Teeth done and wormed. Vetted. Excellent manners and gentle temperament, forward going but easy to ride. Carefully produced since Summer 2024. Bettyspark Shadow at the age of 8, has won multiple ridden, in-hand and working hunter championships. He placed 2nd and 3rd the Clifden High performance WH and won the stallion WH in Clifden as a 5 year old and 7 year old and placed 2nd as an 8yo. He won champion ridden in Clifden and Supreme in-hand at the North- East Connemara Show. He qualified for the Dublin High performance class four times. His progeny inherits his looks, bone, movement, rideability, athletic jump and most importantly his WILLINGNESS to perform and his ACE character. This is one of a very few Bettyspark Shadow progeny on the market. The only one sold prior to this season, Dunlewey Ridge, qualified for Dublin as well as the Clifden Green Hunter as a 4 year old.
