CRACKING ALL-ROUNDER 138 GELDING

Super model of a pony…. with temperament to match. This handsome gelding is a lovely old-fashioned type with a solid set of limbs and a kind eye. Has already turned 4 and measures a good 138cm. He has a good bit done for his age, including Arena-work, Hunting, X-C and has been to a couple of Shows. Was also prepared for Cavan Sales in February and performed well on the day but did ride a little green and wasn’t sold. He has had plenty of schooling in the meantime and is a different pony now! Clean Vet Cert , no vices, no bad habits. This is a friendly pony who walks up to you in the field. He is good to tie-up, clip, box, shoe, get on & off, wash, tack-up etc. Snaffle mouth, excellent steering & brakes and he rides in a nice outline. Very straightforward ride but not for a beginner… he is just too well-schooled and still needs education. This boy rides nicely to a fence, arrives on the correct stride almost every time; if he doesn’t, he is able to correct himself and rarely knocks a pole. When out X-C, he is willing and brave. I cannot praise this lad enough… he has no negatives, except for lack of mileage but he is a quick learner and will be such a fantastic pony for someone going forward. Has the makings of an ideal Pony-Club type, is good enough to measure for SJI and will also excel at Hunting/ X-C. When you see him in the flesh, this pony will sell himself and doesn’t need any talking-up! A knowledgeable home is required with a good rider and other ponies, as he has always been in this type of environment. Come get him, if you’re any judge…🤔 Call me first to discuss.
