Rotel RC-850 Stereo Control Amplifier

Classic early-1980s Rotel RC-850 stereo pre-amplifier, a well-regarded audiophile piece from Rotel's "Quality Hi-Fi" era. Dual-mono design with a proper MM/MC phono stage, the reason these are sought after by vinyl users. Fully tested and working, every function checked: All line inputs tested and working (CD, Tuner, AV/AUX1, AV/AUX2) Tape monitor loop working MM/MC phono stage tested and working (confirmed with a turntable) Line output and headphone output both working All controls (volume, bass, treble, tone, selectors) clean and smooth, no scratchy pots Sounds excellent, clean and quiet with full stereo separation. Some light cosmetic marks on the casing from age and normal use, nothing affecting function. Front panel and knobs all present and in good order. A lovely-sounding, genuinely tested preamp ready to pair with a power amp or active speakers. These are hard to find fully tested, most sell untested.
