1912 Gibson A1

We have here a Gibson mandolin produced in early 1912 (if the serial numbers are right) This mandolin bears the FON 11862, it has fallen victim the common bow on the neck which only seems to have started, but luckily has avoided the belly from loosing its arch under the bridge position. Plays very well, would benefit from a good setup, I have avoided doing it myself as I want this to be left as a blank canvas for any prospective buyer. (Note as of 1/12/25 it has been sent to JKM guitars for a setup and to correct a slight bow in the neck, if interest is still there I will sell but if not I am more than happy to keep it) Selling as I don’t really play it much.
