Description

Orpheum No 1 Tenor Banjo in great condition. 1917 vintage. Nice mother of pearl inlay. Rosewood fretboard maple rim. Made by lange, same maker as Paramount in New York . Vintage 1917. It was designed and manufactured as an open back banjo. It has a resonator back added, which I have used on and off. Good quality vintage banjo. Sound and tone is similar to Paramount A model . Nice narrow 19 fret neck, exactly the same as Paramount A, for easy trad playing.
