Sad sale of a lovely violin McNeela Advanced I have played some very expensive violins in the past but this one - which cost me around €700 exceeded expectations It’s easy to play - great for Irish Trad or classical It has a warm, resonant tone with good projection Made of finest spruce and maple with an antique varnish finish Comes complete with a classy case, carbon fibre bow, Italian Rosin, shoulder rest and a Snark tuner (super-handy if you’re tuning up in a noisy environment) Looks, feels and sounds good, but don’t take my word for it - check out the demo on McNeela’s website
