The charger is also suitable for fast charging LXT 14.4v and 18v LXT batteries when used with the optional charging adapter ADP10 (sold separately). When the battery cartridge is inserted, the charging light turns blue instead of green, and charging begins. The fast blue flashing light indicates a charged condition of 0-80%, while the blue charging light illuminates steadily to indicate a charge of 80-100%. The indications are approximate and may vary depending on battery temperature or condition. When the charge is complete, the charging light changes from blue to green, and a melody or buzzer sound (a long beep) is heard to indicate the completion of the charge.
