Fisher M-101 Metal Detector / Rebar Locator Designed specifically for finding reinforcing bars and other metal objects embedded in concrete, conduits, PK nails, wiring, wall studs and other metallic objects. The M-101 is a metal detector with a small search coil that provides a concentrated search signal. The M-101 will respond to all types of metal (rebar, wire mesh, metal conduit, metallic trash, metallic targets on the opposite side of surface to be scanned, etc.) which may be associated with the area that is to be searched. The M-101 will not respond to non-metallic targets such as plastic or fiberglass. The M-101 is not designed to be a wire or pipe tracer.
