Traditional Stick Making Workshop - 17th May

On Saturday 17th May 2025, 10am - 2pm there is a Traditional Stickmaking workshop upstairs in The Carpentry Store featuring the skills of carving, jointing, stick bending and pyrography. Come along join the members of the Celtic Stickmakers Club and find out more about this wonderful country craft. Entry is €5.00 and includes Tea & Coffee. Founded in 2006, the Celtic Stickmakers Club now has over 50 members from throughout the island of Ireland, and are growing all the time and is dedicated to promoting traditional stickmaking and to sharing skills, ideas and techniques to those beginning and experienced stickmakers alike.
