Vintage Record 04 Plane

A superb smoothing plane made in Sheffield in 1953, the year I was born. This plane has been in storage for most of its life as the Best Crucible Cast Steel blade had never been sharpened. The body is in very good condition with a clean flat sole. The adjusters work perfectly and the beechwood handles are original and in good shape. I have sharpened and set the blade ready to use.
