Alexander Mills have been prominent in the supply of agriculture machinery and farming supplies to the farming industry from 1945.  

Our business supplies products all over Ireland, Europe and further.

The Core business is in the farming sector which is situated at Main Street, Benburb.

We are agents for CASE IH tractors, McConnel hedgecutters &amp; machinery, Teagle machinery, NC, Lely &amp; Joskin

A vast amount of spares are kept in stock for all machines, this is backed up by a team of highly trained mechanics, who operate either on site throughout Ireland or in the workshop.

In Excess of 4000 tonnes of fertilizer are sold and delivered to customers through the season; this is complemented by the sale of high quality pink lime, which is produced from the family owned quarry, situated outside Armagh.

General hardware, Agri supplies, fencing, gates, ALKO lawnmowers, Stihl power equipment, Draper tools, silage covers and wrap are just some of the items we stock.

Other family interests include a water turbine on the Blackwater River which supplies electric to the national grid and over 700 acres of land which is part farmed and part let out in conacre.

I thought that I had bought a flail mower of this company, after chasing the salesman for over 2 days to pay for it I finally got him on day 3 to be told they had sold it to someone else, very poor service and I won't be responding to any other ads, complete waste of my time

If I could give no stars I would. This business has done nothing but waste my time and cost me money. Had a previous bad experience coming a considerable distance to see a machine which was not as described but thought I would give it one more try (as anyone can make mistakes)as they had a machine in stock which I wanted to buy. Oh boy how wrong I was about a one of mistake! Phoned regarding a machine I really wanted to purchase. The sale rep wasn't available but did phone  me back. He confirmed a price which I was very happy with. I decided to pack up for the afternoon and travel another considerable distance to see and hopefully purchase the machine. Even had the cheque book ready. My business partner whom I spoke to was a little skeptical about the price and asked me to phone back to check I had heard right. I phoned back and got the same rep I previously spoke to. I give him their sales listing reference to avoid any confusion and he confirmed the same price as previously. To cut a long story short travelled to their yard with a view to purchasing the machine there and then. Firstly the sales rep that was available didn't even know they stocked the machine. He eventually located it but stated it wasn't on their system yet, even though it was advertised on their website. He asked what we had been quoted. We replied and then he told us where the machine was and to go and have a run in it around the yard. More messing about ensued but eventually got it started. The sales rep then came out and said that the machine was not the price we were quoted. It had suddenly gone up 65%. I was absolutely dumbfounded that this business, and I used the term business  lightly, had wasted more of my time and money for nothing. The machine suddenly became idiotically  overpriced and not a single apology was forthcoming. The sales rep just turned his back and walked away. That is twice now that Alexander Mills Ltd has been dishonest and messed me about and let me assure you it will be the last as I will never set foot in their yard again and would never recommend this shambles of a business to anyone.
