Disc Chipper for RT-630R tractor with hydraulic feed roller The RT-630R disc chipper is designed for shredding branches, tree trunks up to 12 cm in diameter , and other wooden materials, e.g. sawmill edgings. The thickness of the obtained chips can be adjusted with four replaceable blades (made of wear-resistant steel), setting their position relative to the counter-blade. The blades are screwed to a 620 mm diameter cutting disc, which, thanks to its weight, gives it a swing. The chipper is equipped with a hydraulic material intake roller (with emergency stop and reverse gear for material withdrawal) which makes work much easier. The device has guards and an emergency switch located on the feed hopper, ensuring safe operation. The outlet chimney can be rotated 360˚ to direct the stream of chips in the right direction. The chipper is characterized by high efficiency and high comfort of work. The obtained chips can be used as fuel (suitable for screw feeders) or as a composter or bedding for shrubs. The RT-630R chipper has a ball hitch. The chipper drive is transmitted via the PTO shaft from the tractor PTO (right-hand rotation). To work with a hydraulic roller, two hydraulic sockets are required in the tractor (input and return). We recommend using PTO shafts equipped with a shear pin clutch (available in our offer), in the event of machine overload, the pin is sheared off, which disconnects the drive. The rolling bearings are lubricated via grease nipples in the bearing housing.
