Cars at the Cathedral

A unique display of special motorcycles and cars will take place in the grounds of the historic St. Mary's Cathedral Limerick, (V94 E068), on Saturday May 4th from noon until 4pm. A limited number of special event programs will be published. These will be given, on the day, to those who purchase tickets in advance. You can secure yours now by buying tickets on Eventbrite, https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/cars-at-the-cathedral-tickets-870234052477?aff=oddtdtcreator The line up of all new exhibits will include: - the Irish Land Speed Record holder - the World Wheelie Speed Record holder - a 1902 Irish assembled motorbike - a custom creation from a former World Champion Custom Bike Builder - Brough Superior and Henderson KJ - 1960s design proposals from the Triumph motorcycle Design Department - a number of vehicles previously displayed at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours - the Ultimate Barnfind, a unique convertible designed by Count Mario Revelli di Beaumont - a car linked to an Irish Olympic Gold Medal winner - a display of restored pedal cars - a Ferrari Enzo and a Ford GT Mk2 - a Monte Carlo Rally prize winner - and much, much more! "Cars at the Cathedral" is part of Limerick's Riverfest celebrations and represents a unique opportunity to see many vehicles and items never before on public display. All profits go to local charities. Visitors are a short walk from shops, cafes, the Hunt Museum, King John's Castle and many other attractions. The event is being held in conjunction with the Irish Motor Racing Club, (IMRC), organisers of the Limerick Grand Prix races of the 1930s.
