1937 Wolseley 25hp

1937 Wolseley 25hp Flagship of the wolseley range. 3500cc 6 cylinder ohv engine with twin horizontal su carburettors, running a 4 speed box. Barn find, but totally solid, I haven't washed or cleaned it, but will clean up really nice. It's a big car, 16 feet long and has been off the road for 15 or so years. Black with a yellow pinstripe. Blue leather interior with beige cloth headlining. Sliding sunroof. Boot space accessible from rear seat Complete factory tool kit. Spare wheel accessible from outside. Built in four wheel jacking system. Will need some light recommissioning, but nothing major, engine is free and not seized, also comes with a spare engine and gearbox. Large history file, including old uk mots, handbooks, photographs 1937 wolseley diary etc. I drove this car myself 25 years or so ago to a friend's wedding and it drove lovely, loads of power, good brakes and handles good. If I hadn't so many other old cars I'd keep it. A very usable prewar car that you could go anywhere in. Sitting on a low digit ZV plate. No text please, call and if I can't answer I'll ring you back.
