This 1979 short wheelbase Land Cruiser BJ40 is in remarkable condition with a mere 50,000kms and has just had a recent full restoration to a very high standard. The Mustard Yellow paint is superb and the bodywork is completely rust free having been brought back to bare metal before paint (fully photographed. The car wears its original steel wheels, too, which have been refrubished and are fitted with period correct Michelin All Terrain tyres. A pair of Hella spotlights on the front are a welcome addition, too. Pleasingly, all fixtures and fittings have been refurbished/replaced with new items where necessary also. Inside, the spartan but attractive interior boasts its original Toyota rubber mats, and the full-width black leatherette split seating, which can accommodate 3 people, shows zero wear. There are also folding bench seats in the rear to accommodate a further 4 passengers. The car drives beautifully, too. The 3.0 4-cylinder diesel engine was fully rebuilt by Cork Engine Centre and the gearbox also had a refresh. A set of Tough Dog dampers have also been fitted.
