1993 Mazda MX-5 NA6 Japanese import 1.6L petrol 221k kms NCT 01/03/27 Tax 09/26 (€56 p/y) Over the last 1.5 years, this car has had extensive mechanical restoration with no expense spared, including: Full engine recommission with timing belt kit with water pump, all bearings, rings, gaskets, and seals replaced, new hydraulic lifters, cylinder head ported, injectors ultrasonically cleaned and filters replaced, oil pump replaced and race spec sump baffle fitted. Coolant reroute with new thermostat, as well as slimline dual fan shroud installed and working. New uprated Exedy clutch kit and clutch slave cylinder installed with braided clutch cable. Car is fitted with a 4.1 Torsen diff with polyurethane bushes, and the propshaft has been fully rebuilt with new universal joints and balanced. All steering/suspension painted and rebuilt with new balljoints, inner/outer track rods, full polyurethane bush kit, and Whiteline anti-roll bars. Both subframes powder coated and underside treated for rust and undersealed, and GAZ Gold adjustable coilovers fitted with new strut top mounts and gaskets. Wheels powder coated gunmetal grey and fitted with Uniroyal RainExpert 5 tyres, 4000kms road driving on them. MTEC slotted/dimpled discs front and back, EBC Greenstuff front pads and road rear pads. Brake stopper fitted from servo to the suspension turret and silicone booster hose for better pedal feel. An extensive list of all work is available for serious enquiries only. The bad point is the paintwork; the body is straight but ideally a respray would have the car near show ready. Some minor trim pieces have age-related wear/damage as expected from a car of this age.
