Ford Escort Mk2 1.6 Ghia

1979 Ford Escort 1.6 Ghia, great straight car. Super solid underneath and really clean original interior, one seatbelt fitted in backseat for child seat. Owned for 15 years, always dry stored and only used in the summer, now not being used as purchased another classic and have no time to get out. Car would suit an Escort enthusiast, had a recent tune up with points/plugs/leads and oil and filter done also, goes/pulls well and starts reliably, low low original miles, car has had an easy life and it shows. Small amount of lacquer peel if fussy but very useable solid Mk2 Escort which can be used today and everyday if needed!! Always nice to see an original 1.6 Ghia at shows among the sea of pretend 2 door RS’s!! NI registered and MOT/Tax exempt - though I ran it through the MOT last year and passed with no issues.
