Jaguar Etype RHD 4.2 S2 1970 Manual 5 speed

This is my beautiful 1970 Jaguar etype 4.2 2+2 s2 5 speed manual with 1 previous Irish owner. Much better to live with than the s1 due to several factory upgrades. I have reason to believe this car has only done 5000 miles in regard to cross referencing some old MOTs and paperwork, then correlating that to the mileometer. It drives so nicely and is an absolutely pleasure, especially with the stainless steel exhaust, the triple SU carbs and the 5 speed gearbox. Will easily do well over 100mph I have done several long journeys in it recently and it performs faultlessly. Will cruise at 75mph almost on idle! Temp sits at a quarter/ whether in traffic or cruising-oil pressure is exactly to factory spec from new. I have also just replaced the plugs - fan belt and changed the oil. There is lots of paperwork with the car adding up to 10s of thousands over the years and it shows in the way it drives. Brakes are new including discs and front calipers. Interior is lovely, I have the centre console with the speakers and stereo hole but it’s been taken off for comfort in the cabin Currently it is on Kilkenny plates and as you know it’s 56e per year to tax. The colour combo of very dark blue and the red/burgundy leather is extremely elegant and puts the car above the rest. Just looks perfect. The seats are gorgeous and you can fit 2 children in the back. Engine has a lovely induction sound and amazing suck back noise from the exhaust when changing gears. It really is an intoxicating car to drive. Paint has a few bits here and there but it adds to the patina in a good way. You feel you can drive it and not worry too much about picking up the odd stone chip. Underneath is solid as a rock including the bonnet which is rare Prefer straight sale but open to part x with interesting classic up to the value of 20k These car can cost 10s of thousands to restore but this is in great shape with an amazing patina. Pure rockstar.
